Behind Good Witch
Well hello there!
I can't even begin to tell you how overjoyed I am that you are even reading these words. Mind. Blown.
The fact that Good Witch exists somewhere outside of my imagination is still pretty surreal to me. Especially because I spent a decade in TV news as a reporter and anchor, working all over Canada.
That was all I ever wanted to do...until it wasn't. Blame it on my Saturn Return, burnout, true love, whatever...but I quit my big-time anchor job in Toronto without a real plan but the belief that I was meant to do something more.
Two weeks after my notice, I found out I was pregnant! Then the panic sunk in. Luckily, I have the best partner in the world who calmed me down and told me everything would work out...and it has. Beyond anything I could have imagined.
I started freelance producing from home and started my own video/photography company. We welcomed a beautiful little girl and moved back to my hometown of Victoria, BC. I start running Full Moon Circles with a friend. Things are good, right?
Well, they're about to get better.
A gorgeous owl came to visit us one day. Perched in a tree in our backyard, she stayed all day long. And that same day, it came to me. A coaching community to support women who were coping with change, wanting to find clarity about their love, their work, their life.
The Full Moon Circles had showed me there was a community who was looking for true connection, spiritual growth and of course, a little magic.
My change had just begun it turned out. My little family and I moved to the East Coast, had two more little boys and now we are settled into the perfect witchy house. As I write this, I am in front of the fire, with a almond milk hot chocolate in my lap and my hubs across from me. This is a life beyond my wildest dreams, let me tell you. BUT it didn’t just happen to me. I had to work hard, get really clear and trust myself to know what was best for me. I went back to school and got my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology and became a registered counsellor.
I could go on and on about my dreams for Good Witch but I have already realized one...you here!
